The "Exploding Nine Patch" is a fun optical illusion quilt.  Use gradated (ombre) fabrics to make this quilt in either the 60" X 80" Throw or 84" X 84" Full.  Use 3 colors of the same family to make the 20 inch 9 patch blocks with ombres or from your leftover scraps from earlier projects.
