Rainbow Layer Cake - Quilt Addicts Anonymous

A complicated looking pattern made easy using an equilateral ruler!  Make this quilt with one layer cake, (10" squares) one Jelly roll, (2 1/2" strips) and and a 1/2 yard of coordinating fabric this pattern finishes easily.  Utilizing strip piecing the rows are sewn together on the diagonal so no templates or complicated Y seams.  Using squares and strips takes the guesswork out of fabric plackement.  Just sew together as they come out of the package.
