The quilt pattern forms vertical chains, or you can make the chains run horizontally.  The pattern includes instructions for quilts in three sizes Lap, Twin/Full Queen. The Zig-Zag Ruler is required to make this quilt.  Zig-Zag Rulers are sold separtely.
